Reflection
Experience: This module was definitely a journey for me as I never really took into account the amount of thought and detail put into typography. My main struggle was definitely keeping up with the deadlines and updating my e-portfolio as I never had any experience with progressive assignments. I really learned a lot about typefaces and formatting text through this module.
Observations: How something as simple as spacing can make a whole lot of difference when looking at a body of text. Kerning and cross alignment are essential for making text look nice.
Findings: I found that I'm able to spot more mistakes in my own work as well as appreciate the deep history of typography starting from the painting to the ox movements to the carving. Typography is such an important aspect of design with such an interesting background.
